Like duh!

I don't profess to be anything other than Clueless about fashion, I wear what I like but sometimes I konw it may be verging on fuggly. However on Saturday I paid tribute to one of my favourite teen films via my dress...Cher horowitz I love you. One of my mums old dresses with pleated skirt put with flea market anchor belt, and boot sale daisy brooch and old ballet shoes. My aim today was to look like a total betty!

Although I'd like to be friends with Cher I have a feeling that Amber and I would get on better.

Ps the use of Might might bosstones music in the film rocks my world.

Lady Love

I will always love Debbie Harry and her casual punk chic. I am chanelling her with a vintage cacherel shirt with sailor collar, charity shop jeans, tweed mens blazer, anchor brooch (just seen) from a bootsale and logger boots now all i need is a one way ticket to 70s New York.

Drop Dead Fred

My love for Fred Perry has long been around- thanks Dad for showing me too many photos of you as a youth rocking the button up polo shirt, I like to wear them with everything-in this case a vintage spotty skirt, t-bar studded flats and an 80s Moschino bag.

Cakey Delight

My lovely little sister made me moving home cakes which is why I love her so much! xxx

De gauche a droite

So I have been posting some what sporadically mainly as this blog is meant to be a 'if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all ethos' so with the last few days I've felt it best to stay quiet!!!

However I have a few exciting things on the horizon, firstly I move homes today to a lovely two floor flat in North London with two lovely girls Alice & Meredith so that is very exciting and I can't wait to do my room up a bit and post some pictures!

Secondly this coming week I am the FruGal for the eco-age blog. A fantastic site dedicated to making eco fashionable and run by the equally fashionable Livia Firth. So anyhow my challenge is to wear vintage solidly for 1 week, shouldn't be two hard- apart from the shoes! So I will posting my outfits each day on their site and will give you some previews here!

Also I keep forgetting that I have a guest spot on the BODIEandFOU blog where I put up inspiration images vs product images of the lovely things that they sell. Check it out over at their blog weekly. See above for a few examples!

In the coming weeks I will also be doing some photos for a new online digital mag so stay posted for that.

sunny sunshine

Long tiime no post, mainly as I have been busy with work and have found a new flat to move into (this weekend-scary/exciting/daunting stuff)

I went to a fantastic talk at Lomography about Social Media and their site, the use of 4 square (not sure I want people to know where I am all the time/is checking in to your mums house ever going to be of interest to anyone-although maybe she could make some online deals and put up a QR code on her door and offer limited meals for passer bys?!)

I am quite interested in how social media is constructed for businesses how do you make it sound natural/how to give content that is different to your own site etc? All interesting things.

In other news I really want to see the London street photography exhibition.

My oldest friend is coming over for dinenr tonight. so yay to that! x
