Here is a quick post about something that makes me very VERY happy- family weekends in Denmark. I am lucky enough to have family who live 1 hour outside Copenhagen so whenever possible we flit over to visit. I love the pastries, the laid back atmosphere, the capital city, the weather -everything. My family live near a big lake that is perfect for hours long strolls, plus they have a huge dinner table which is great for gathering us all (huge family) around for dinners, breakfasts, and special occasions- such as my Mum, Sisters, Aunts and Cousins birthdays which all happened within 1 week in September when we were there.
