NYFW style

NYFW style

If I was at NYFW this is what I would wear. Yes to Green & Black... Apparently there was some kind of slapping at NYFW  how ridiculous that someone would get so upset about not having a Front Row seat..imagine having that big an Ego it is insane.

Wish I was in NY though, instead I am at work in West London (the worst bit of London in my humble opinion) and I need to go into central this evening to get a Birthday present but I am really tired & kind of want to go home & have my dinner....thinking sausage & mash if your interested.

Sorry that was not a particularly cheerful post...naughty!

spring time

spring time

I am looking forward to going shopping with the boy this weekend and buying some pastel coloured things to prepare for spring. Also excited to help him pick a birthday present for his niece- any excuse to get excited over pink glitter!

Wonder if we go to Brighton or Stratfield (westfield in Stratford)

Let Them Eat Cake

1 of the things that I really like are cakes, yummy, pretty cakes with effort that's gone into them, they look delicate and simple, cute and fancy, they remind me of the English countryside and they always look soft and sweet never hard or mean. I love looking at them almost as much as I love eating them...check out these old fashion editorials using yummy cakes as props!

Plus the Campbell is in there and she is buff!

Double Trouble

Nothing says spring to me like editorials featuring gal pals it conjures up road trips and days out with a care free attitude. J'aime! Here are two such images from W and Vogue China. In other girl on girl news I have joined the London Feminist Bookgroup and am awaiting the arrival of my first text in the post-so interested to see the turn out and hear the perspectives of the other members and how to marry the concepts of third wave feminism with the positivity that I want to bring to my life along with independence and confidence.
I am quite into the way that fashion has been appropriating extreme sports giving high fashion girlie editorials a touch of skater cool its possible to like dresses and trucks. Boom its officially cool to not want to look glossy.
